The Furnace oil that we supply is a dark viscous residual fuel which is obtained by blending mainly heavier components from crude distillation unit. As per IS 1593:2018 specification, Furnace Oil is classified into four grades – LV (80 cSt), MV1 (125 cSt), MV2 (180 cSt) and HV (380 cSt). FO falls under the category of Class C, under PESO classification.
Application :
FO 180 is mainly used as a fuel for combustion equipment in Industries for firing Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, Air preheaters, Industrial Furnaces, Foundry furnaces, Glass furnaces etc.
Slow-speed engines for captive power generation.
Fuel for Bunkering.
