Bitumen Emulsions Suppliers

The Bitumen Emulsion that we supply is a free flowing liquid at ambient temperatures. Bitumen emulsion supplied by us is a stable dispersion of fine globules of bitumen in continuous water phase. Dispersion is obtained by processing bitumen and water under controlled conditions through a colloidal mill together with selected additives. The use of proper quality emulsifiers that we provide is essential to ensure that the emulsion has stability over time and also that it breaks and sets when applied on aggregates/road surface. It is chocolate brown free flowing liquid at room temperature. 

Bitumen Emulsions provided by us are classified into different grades based on the electrical charge type of fine drops of bitumen, viz., cationic & anionic, and the setting time of bitumen content. Anionic bitumen emulsions are generally not used in road construction as generally siliceous aggregate is used in road construction. Anionic bitumen emulsions do not give good performance with siliceous whereas cationic bitumen emulsions that you use give good performance with these aggregates. Therefore, the cationic bitumen emulsions are far more popular than anionic bitumen emulsions.

Setting time of bitumen emulsion is also governed by the grade of emulsion.

Grades

Vivanta Energy Resources India is actively involved in catering the various demands of the customers of high quality Bitumen Emulsion. The Bitumen Emulsion is manufactured strictly as per IS 8887:2017. Our supplied Bitumen emulsion is classified under two principle grades as follows

Bitumen Emulsion RS-1: Rapid Setting-1 emulsion that we supply is water based bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and fast setting time. RS-1 grade bitumen emulsion is designed to react quickly with aggregate and revert from the emulsion state to bitumen. RS-1 grade is mainly used for tack coat application. 

Bitumen Emulsion RS-2: Rapid Setting-2 emulsion is water based bitumen emulsion that we supply with high viscosity and fast setting time. RS-2 grade bitumen emulsion is designed to react quickly with aggregate and revert from the emulsion state to bitumen. RS-2 grade is mainly used for surface dressing, grouting and best product for spray application. 

Bitumen Emulsion MS: Medium-Setting (MS) bitumen emulsion that we provide is designed for mixing with coarse aggregates and is ideal in premix. Product is so formulated that is does not break immediately upon contact with aggregates and provides few minute of workable time for fixing aggregates. This type of emulsion is highly recommended for surface dressing work. 

Bitumen Emulsion SS-1: Slow-Setting-1 bitumen emulsion is specially designed oil based bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and extended setting time. SS-1 emulsion is mainly used for Prime Coat. 

Bitumen Emulsion SS-2: Slow-Setting-2 bitumen emulsion that we provide is specially designed water based bitumen emulsion with low viscosity and extended setting time. SS-2 emulsion is mainly used for plant or road mixes like Slurry Seal, Fog Seal/ Crack Seal, Premix Seal Coat and for Prime coat applications.
